Reliable Heat for Every Production Stage
Food and beverage production depends on a stable supply of steam, hot water or thermal oil.
These heating media are commonly used for:
Cooking · Pasteurization · Sterilization · Cleaning · Evaporation · Drying
Huanuo Boiler provides customized heating solutions for food factories, beverage plants, breweries, dairies, edible-oil plants, sugar mills, starch factories and bakeries.
For most production lines, a steam boiler is the primary choice. Hot water boilers and thermal oil heaters are recommended only when required by the specific process.
Recommended Boiler Selection
| Production requirement | Recommended Huanuo product | Typical application |
|---|---|---|
| General and stable steam demand | WNS Series Gas/Oil-Fired Fire-Tube Steam Boiler | Cooking, pasteurization, sterilization and cleaning |
| Higher efficiency and lower emissions | WNS Series Low-NOx Condensing Steam Boiler | Natural-gas projects with stricter efficiency or emission requirements |
| Large and continuous steam demand | SZS Series Gas/Oil-Fired Water-Tube Steam Boiler | Large food, beverage, dairy, sugar and starch plants |
| Fast start-up or intermittent operation | LSS Series Gas/Oil-Fired Once-Through Steam Boiler | Batch production and fluctuating steam loads |
| Small steam demand or no on-site combustion | W(L)DR Series Electric Steam Boiler | Small production lines, laboratories and supplementary steam supply |
| Stable and economical biomass available | DZL or SZL Series Biomass-Fired Steam Boiler | Plants using wood chips, rice husks, bagasse or similar biomass fuels |
| Process hot water required | CWNS, WNS or W(L)DR Series Hot Water Boiler | Washing, sanitation and low-temperature heating |
| High-temperature indirect heating | YY(Q)W Series Gas/Oil-Fired Thermal Oil Heater | Edible-oil processing, baking, frying and thermal-fluid systems |
The final solution should be selected according to the production process, required capacity, working pressure, load pattern and available fuel.
Key Considerations for Boiler Selection
01.Steam Use and Quality
Confirm whether the steam is used for indirect heating or comes into direct contact with food, ingredients or food-contact surfaces.
Standard industrial boilers normally provide plant steam. Direct-contact applications may require additional water treatment, steam filtration or a separate culinary-steam or clean-steam system.
02.Steam Capacity
Boiler capacity should be based on the maximum simultaneous steam demand of the complete production line—not the demand of a single machine.
Average load, peak load, start-up demand, working pressure and future expansion should all be considered.
03.Load Pattern
Continuous production and batch production require different boiler configurations.
Where steam demand changes significantly, multiple boilers or a fast-start boiler may offer better flexibility and efficiency than one oversized unit.
04.Fuel and Operating Cost
Boiler selection should consider more than the initial purchase price.
Local fuel availability, energy prices, annual operating hours, emission requirements and maintenance costs all affect the long-term operating cost.
05.Water Treatment and Reliability
Proper feedwater treatment helps protect the boiler, maintain efficiency and extend service life.
For production lines that cannot tolerate steam interruptions, standby capacity or a multiple-boiler configuration should also be considered.
